AWS stands for Amazon Web Services.It provides secure cloud services, database storage, content delivery platform, and other services for business development.

Buffer synchronizes the various components and makes the arrangement elastic to support a burst of load or traffic. It creates and equilibrium by linking the various apparatus and crafts them to work at a stable rate to supply rapid services.

Computing, Storage, and Networking are the three basic cloud services.
•    The AWS services built on these three services include:
•    Computing: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, Auto-Scaling, and Lightsat.
•    Storage: S3, Glacier, Elastic Block Storage, Elastic File System.
•    Networking: VPC, Amazon CloudFront, Route53.

It is a Virtual machine that consists of the OS-level control. It is used to deploy your own servers in the cloud, similar to your on-premises servers, and provides full control of the choice of hardware and the updates on the machine.

It is an application that allows transfer of terabytes of data inside and outside of the AWS environment.

CloudWatch is used to monitor the application status of various AWS services and custom events like EC2, RDS Instances, and CPU utilization.

Lamda runs the code whenever needed without managing servers. Users need to pay only when the code is running. 

Regions: It consists of two or more availability zones. It is a geographical area consisting of collection of data centers which are completely isolated from other regions.
Availability zones: It is a data center within a country or a city that can have multiple servers, switches, firewalls, and load balancing. It includes the platform for interacting with the cloud.


The AWS CloudTrail and AWS Config are the account level logging option. Most other AWS services have logging options.

AWS CloudTrail: It provides the history of the AWS API calls for every account. The AWS CloundTrail performs security analysis, resource change tracking, and compliance auditing of the AWS environment. 

AWS Config: It defines the configuration changes that happen in the environment. The AWS Config service provides AWS inventory that includes AWS configuration history, relation between AWS resources, and configuration change notification. The AWS config can be configured to send information through AWS SNS.

Web Application Firewall, IAM, CloundFront, and Route 53 are some of the AWS services that not region specific.     

AMI stands for Amazon Machine Image. There are many types of AMI.s The commonly used AMIs in AWS are:
•    JeOS (Just enough baked AMI) AMI 
•    Fully baked AMI
•    Hybrid AMI


There are four steps to allow access to a specific bucket.
•    Categorize instances
•    Allow authorized users to manage specific servers
•    Lockdown of tags
•    Attach policies to IAM users.
